Jittery, quivery
Rocky, rickety
Pulsing offbeat
Breathing out heat
Shaky like whirling leaves
Craziness interweaves
Into my thinking
I have no inkling
Just want my nerve
Poise to conserve
Lost like sheep
Hill too steep
Reaching, gripping
While I’m slipping,
Holding to my core
Faithful anchor
Never shifts
Never drifts
Always there
Just like air
Drawing in
Once again
I’m on solid ground
Suddenly have found
Steadiness like rock
Breakthrough to my block;
Solid root–My life
Powerful inside
Holding steady
To be ready
Overqualified
For the next ride…
